When searching for one, fill out a lot of online forms, then compare and contrast the recommendations and fees. See which ones are approved by the Better Business Bureau before making your decision. Call and ask questions. You can tell by the answers if it's a company you want to do business with or not. When you've narrowed the field down to one or two, do a mini-background check to make sure this is a reputable company. Once you're comfortable with them, proceed to the world of credit card debt relief.
